Shijiazhuang-Taiyuan High-speed Railway, also known as Shijiazhuang-Taiyuan High-speed Railway, is a high-speed railway connecting Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province and Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province. ) An important part of the "Qingyin Corridor", one of the main corridors of the "Eight Vertical and Eight Horizontal" high-speed railways [1], is a traffic artery that connects East China and North China.
The Shijiazhuang high-speed railway runs from Shijiazhuang Station to Taiyuan South Station. The main line is 189.93 kilometers long, with 8 stations and a design speed of 250 kilometers per hour.
On June 11, 2005, the Shijiazhuang-Taizhou high-speed railway started construction, which is China's first dedicated passenger railway line [2]. On October 28, the former Ministry of Railways, Shanxi Province and Hebei Province jointly established the "Shi-Tai High-Speed Railway Co., Ltd.".
At the end of December 2008, the Shijiazhuang-Taizhou high-speed railway was completed, and freight trains started operating at a speed of 160 kilometers per hour.
